MUSIC

Some of my favorite bands include: Lush, Bauhaus, Now Now, The crane wives, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Gregory and the Hawk, Mitski, Dead Man's Bones, Holy Fawn, Wolf Alice, and others! I will probably edit this section depending on what I like the most at the moment lol

ALBUM - "FIRST UTTERANCE" BY COMUS

Comus is a folk band from the 1970s that I discovered recently and it is absolutely LOVELY. Ff you want to feel like you're running from a beast in a dark forest in the dark ages this is the album for you! My favorite tracks are "diana", "the prisoner", and "the bite".

ARTIST - NUSSY ANDREWS

Nussy Andrews truly never fails to amaze me. She's such an incredibly talented lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. I look up to her so much, please check her out if you have the time! She does not get enough credit. Fans of Fiona Apple will love her newest album, "Venus, Baby", and fans of Ethel Cain will probably loop her songs "Hag" and "Nameless" for days on end.

ALBUM - "FUNERAL" BY ARCADE FIRE

People have definitely said this before, but Arcade Fire are so fucking amazing. Funeral brings me into a whole story in my head. (though all music does, but funeral is just so ughhhh i don't even have words. i love the vibes.) I don't know enough about music theory or stuff like that to properly do it justice here...

MISCELLANEOUS - TWILIGHT SAGA SOUNDTRACKS

Now, I majorly hate Twilight, thought I'd get that out of the way. It's extremely racist, it's portrayals of women are... problematic to say the least, and Bella's relationships are super fucking creepy (get my girl out of there!). But oh my god. Why does the soundtrack have to slap so hard. Some of my faves are Decode by Paramore, Meet me on the Equinox by Death Cab for Cutie, and of course, Rosyln by Bon Iver & St. Vincent. GO LISTEN TO THEM NOW!!!
